It has been an incredible 2023 for Diego Elias who has just won the Pittsburgh Open at the Rivers Club, continuing his outstanding form.
Elias, who has already won the Sturbridge Capital Motor City Open and the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions this year, hasn’t dropped a set since the Everbright Securities International Hong Kong Squash Open championship match in December, before going onto complete a hat-trick of victories.
The Peruvian Puma will achieve a career-best ranking of No. 2 in the PSA World Rankings on Monday as a result of his victory in Pittsburgh, capping the incredible run.
“I think all the hard work is paying off – I did a lot of work for this and I’m incredibly proud of myself for winning three tournaments in a row.
