JACK DRAPER WINS INDIAN WELLS AND BECOMES WORLD NO. 7

On Sunday afternoon in the Californian desert, Team Dunlop’s Jack Draper produced an extremely dominant display in his first Masters 1000 final, defeating Denmark's Holger Rune 6-2, 6-2 in just over an hour to claim the trophy.

This victory propels the 23-year-old Briton to a career-high ATP ranking of World No. 7, marking his debut in the top 10. Draper's journey to the title included notable wins over top-seeded players, such as a semifinal triumph against Carlos Alcaraz.

Reflecting on his achievement, Draper expressed immense satisfaction, acknowledging the hard work and sacrifices that led to this moment. He stated, "I feel like I deserve it, in all honesty. The amount of adversity I've been through, the amount of sacrifices, the amount of time that all the people around me have put into me and the hard work. It's an emotional feeling to know how much you've gone through and put in, and to be here now to say that I'm going to be No. 7 in the world tomorrow, I can't tell you how much that means to me."
