2025 sees new Dunlop packaging

The Dunlop ball is proud to be the ’Number 1 Ball on Tour’, being used in more ATP tournaments than any other brand. Some of the events featuring the Dunlop ball are: Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, Internazionali BNL d'Italia, Mutua Madrid Open, Miami Open ‘presented by Itau’, Next Gen ATP Finals and, to round things off, the Nitto ATP Finals. The Dunlop ATP ball–used in Turin by the best tennis players in the world–is precision-engineered using Dunlop’s technical expertise and is designed for professional players who demand a ball equipped with all the elements necessary to support the highest level of performance

The ball is staying the same, but the packaging has undergone an overhaul to make it more sustainable; from aluminum to 30% recycled plastic; from a plastic cap to a recycled paper one. This will lead to an overall reduction in plastic thanks to the paper cap and the paper label, placed inside the tube, which will be removable to allow a complete recycling process. So once the balls are used and exhausted, both the plastic tube and paper cap and label can be easily recycled. The packaging will change but the ball will remain the same. And the title of Dunlop’s new ball packaging campaign is precisely this: ‘New packaging, same great performance’.

“We are very proud to be back in Turin, for a new edition of the Nitto ATP Finals”, says Shogo Suzukake, Head of Global Sales Marketing & Pro Tour of Dunlop: “it is an honour for us tosee the best tennis players in the world play and appreciate our tennis balls, and we are proud to have expanded the partnership with the ATP to include rackets, strings and accessories. We are in an important moment for our brand: the sustainable transition is for us a heartfelt duty towards the environment around us, I hope that this project of ours can be a stimulus for the world of tennis and beyond”.
