Ann Li continues a strong calendar year by winning her first WTA title a the inaugural Tenerife Open.
The 21 year old came up against Camilla Osorio and stormed to victory in just 1 hour and 10 minutes. Claiming the final match 6-1, 6-4.
Ann Li moves up towards the top 50 of the world rankings which is a giant leap from 112 where she started the season and this run has seen a return to the form she showed earlier in the season.
Li dropped her first set of the tournament to Nuria Parrizas Diaz in the opening round, but went a flawless 10-0 in sets after that.
Li will be the No.9 seed in Courmayeur next week. She will face Kamilla Rakhimova of Russia in the first round.
