Dunlop’s Nour El Tayeb retained her Cleveland Classic title defeating World No.7 Sarah Jane-Perry 3-1: 10-12, 14-12, 11-5, 11-4 to take home her second title of the season.

It was a welcome return to tournament victory for El Tayeb after she looked to bounce back from defeat in the final of the Weymuller Open in Brooklyn a week earlier.

It was a very close fought contest with Perry getting the better of two in the opening exchanges. Perry took a 1 game lead and was 10-5 up in the second. However, El Tayeb rallied and saved 8 game balls before going onto level the match and then, ultimately, win the match.

It’s El Tayeb’s 10th PSA title and has seen a strong run of form in America so far. She now turns her attention to the Windy City Open, in which she was a winner in 2018.
