Dunlop has added to its impressive portfolio of official ball supplier partnerships with three key ATP Tour events in the lead-up to the 2019 Nitto ATP Tour Finals.

Dunlop will provide the ATP 500 Swiss Indoors, Basel, ATP 500 Erste Bank Open, Vienna and ATP 250 European Open, Antwerp with the Dunlop ATP Official Ball, reinforcing Dunlop’s position as the number one choice of ball on the ATP Tour, with Dunlop supplying balls to more ATP Tour tournaments than any other brand.

Dunlop is now the official ball provider of 21 tournaments on the ATP Tour, including the prestigious season-ending Nitto ATP Tour Finals and Next Gen ATP Tour Finals. It is also the official ball of the Australian Open, with the 2019 event marking the first of a five-year partnership.

All events will take place during October 2019 (ATP 250 European Open – 14-20 October, ATP 500 Swiss Indoors Basel, 19-27 October, ATP 500 Erste Bank Open – 21-27 October), providing a great opportunity for players to pick up valuable Race to London points with places in the Nitto ATP Tour Finals still potentially up for grabs.

SRI’s Head of Tennis Business, Masahiro Asahino, commented: “We’re delighted to be able to become the official ball supplier to an additional three ATP tournaments. These are highly significant tournaments towards the end of the 2019 tennis season and is testament to the tireless work that the team has put in developing the Dunlop ATP Tour Official Ball. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding quality products for the world’s elite players and like the fans, we want to see the best tennis possible. It’s great that these high-profile tournaments entrust us with providing the official balls to help achieve this.”

After Dunlop’s debut at the ATP 500 Erste Bank Open and the ATP 250 European Open in 2018, the tournaments have chosen to extend their partnerships with Dunlop in 2019. Dunlop will replace incumbent ball suppliers at the ATP 500 Swiss Indoors Basel with a multi-year contract.

“We’re pleased that Dunlop will again be the official tournament ball of the Erste Bank Open this year,” said Herwig Straka, ATP 500 Erste Bank Open Tournament Director.

“As a result, the tournament, one of Austria’s most prestigious sports events, will live up to its claim to offer top quality in all areas of the tournament; we are very proud to continue the successful partnership with Dunlop.”

Patrick Ammann, Managing Director at ATP 500 Swiss Indoors Basel, added: “We’re very pleased to partner with Dunlop for this year’s tournament. Dunlop embodies tradition, innovation and quality, all premium values shared by ourselves.”

“The European Open continues to focus on being a top tennis event and bringing great players, who want to play with the best balls, which is why we are pleased to renew the partnership with Dunlop for this year’s tournament”, said Dick Norman European Open Tournament Director.
