They are back. Team Dunlop player, Jamie Murray, has partnered back up with long time doubles partner Bruno Soares and they have immediately taken the title in the Great Ocean Road Open ATP 250 event.

It was their first tournament playing together since Roland Garros is 2019, the pair saw themselves take on the top seeds in Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah in the final, emerging victorious 6-3, 7-6(7).

“We had a great week, obviously, to win the title here [in] our first tournament back together. It’s really exciting,” Murray said. “Beat some top teams along the way. I think it kind of reinforces [for] us what we can do when we put good performances out on the court each day.”

The signs are very encouraging for the former world No.1 duo as they only lost one set through out the tournament beating out two other teams who were in last years Nitto ATP finals.

It is their 20th final together and 11th title. They will be looking to build on this strong form as they head onto the Australian Open.
