The Australian Open women’s Doubles Wheelchair event saw an all Dunlop final in which Aniek Van Koot and Marjolein Buis found themselves on the opposite side of the net fighting for the title. The number 1 seeds Van Koot and her partner Diede De Groot were ultimately the victors, winning 5-7, 77-64, [10]-[8]. Van Koot has now added a 12th Grand Slam title to her trophy cabinet which already contained 9 doubles titles and 2 singles titles. This is her fourth trophy overall in Australia, having previously won in 2017, 2013 and 2010.

Also in the Australian Open, Team Dunlop’s Yui Kamiji took on Diede De Groot in the Women’s singles final. A repeat of the 2018 final, sadly it went against the Japanese player again as she lost 0-6, 2-6.
