Congratulations to both Diego Elias and Sivasangari Subramaniam who were awarded the PSA Men’s Young Player of the Year and the PSA Women’s Best Young Player of the Year at the PSA Awards on Monday 2nd June.

It is the Second year in a row that Diego Elias has won the award that compounds his presence on the tour as the one to watch. At just 21, he is currently ranked number 11 in the world and although he has recently been hampered by injury (which caused him to pull out of the Worlds in December) he has just returned by winning in the South American Games and will look to take the PSA world tour by storm next season.

The young Malaysian, Subramaniam has had a meteoric rise in the last year reaching the PSA world top 40 at the age of just 19. The last year has seen her win big tournaments including the likes of the Malaysian Open, the Beijing Challenge Cup and the British Junior U19 Open.

Both players use Dunlop rackets, with Elias using the brand new Precision Ultimate, and Subramaniam using the Hyperfibre+ Revelation 125.
